We head into Tanzania crossing over the border at Namanga, and continue on to Lake Manyara. An ornithological paradise, this national park of 325 km² is located between the cliffs of the Rift Valley and lake Manyara. The beauty and variety of its landscapes, and the abundance of wildlife amply compensate for its small size. The vegetation is much denser here than in the other parks. Game drive in the park.

On the way to the Serengeti, we stop off at the market of Mto Wa Mbu village, which is famous for its variety of fruit. After a possible stop at the Olduvaï Gorges, where human fossil fragments dating back approximately two million years were discovered in 1959, we reach the famous natural reserve that is the Serengeti. Its immense plains are strewn with acacia woodland, rivers and ancient, granite rock formations (kopjes).
