Serengeti / Zanzibar – Stone Town |

After breakfast at the lodge, transfer to the aerodrome for a flight to Zanzibar, a melting-pot of Arab, Persian, Indian, Portuguese and African cultures. Transfer to Stone Town. Activities available are the Spice Tour, with exotic odours such as nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon filling the air, or you could simply wander around Stone Town. Very little has changed here in 200 years, and it has retained its charm through its winding alleys, bustling bazaars and its wonderful architecture, to be seen in the brass-studded, carved wooden doors. |
